Hi, I'm Saswati. This is my home on the web. I'm glad that you have finally made your way through my page. I was born in 1968, 2nd of February. I am from Burdwan (yes, you are right...The land Of Sitabhog and Mihidana) / WestBengal/ India. We actually originate from Anguna -a village situated at the southern bank of Damodar River ( Dakshin Damodar)...we used to go there once a year during Laxmi Puja....and it was something we really looked forward to. My Dad - Dr Deb Narayan Samanta is a doctor. He had a transferable job and he finally setteled in Burdwan. He is a very intellectual, kind, hard working, enthusiastic, self confident, honest, thoughtful and understanding person (believe me, these adjectives are not at all enough to describe my Dad, my hero). He has always been my mentor throughout my life. My mother, Smt Sujata Samanta, is a very inspiring, caring, understanding and above all a very loving person. Our parents have taught us the real lessons of life. I am proud and very fortunate to have parents like them. I wish all the children get parents like I had and I thank them for the wonderful childhood they have oferred me. My younger brother(Amar chotto adorer bhai) Sujoy is my best buddy....Gosh I miss him so badly. He is married to Sanjukta...a very special girl and their princess Megha... is just a year old.....as pretty as can be.... We are a family of four- Naru-my Hubby, Shreya-our elder daughter and Arijeet-our son. Naru-is a doctor. He is very passionate about medicine. I and Naru are soulmates. Its funny how he looks at me and asks "whats wrong?"...he knows me so thoroughly!! It was Naru who had noticed my love for computers and had encouraged me to start studying with Computers. Today whatever I do with Computers...it is all for my Naru....Naru, I thank you from the core of my heart...for guiding me and putting up with me all through these 13 years. This project would not have been possible without my children- Shreya and Arijeet as...they couldn't get the computer as much as they wanted to. So I thank you very much too. I had spent a part of my childhood in UK....when my dad was doing his FRCS over there. I did my preschooling in United Kingdom and my schooling in Berhampore,Murshidabad. I spent my college life in Burdwan. In 1995 we arrived New Zealand- a very nice country. At present, we live in Western Australia. My Hobbies?? Well I love reading books. I dont know how many times I have read Sarat Chandra Chaterjee's Datta, Maitreyi Devi's No Honnotye...My favourite authors are Sunil Ganguly, Samaresh Mazumdar, Satyajit Ray, Budhdhodev Guha, Sarat Chandra Chaterjee, Bankim Chandra, Suchitra Bhattacharya,Bimal Kar, Ashapurna Devi, Eric Segal, Daniel Steele, Jackie Collins and Sidney Sheldon..... I love to listen to olden day songs...but nah...I dont sing and guess what I love Napster (free Bengali Mp3s...what more do we want). I am a student of Network Management. This web page was supposed to be a short project of mine but I got carried away and fell in love with my project and so it got real big. Recently I have discovered I quite like HTML-ing and I am addicted to Visual Basic...I simply love it. I am very much into the designing aspect of computing. Lastly, I like to thank all the viewers of my site . I have tried to make my site as user freindly as possible. I have just got introduced with HTML...so may be there are some loop holes .
